Draft of the Indian Constitution

As we all know India gained independence on 15 August 1947, but our country did not have any constitution of its own. However, after many discussions and deliberations, a committee headed by Dr BR Ambedkar presented a draft of the Indian Constitution, which was adopted on 26 November 1949 and officially came into force on 26 January 1950. Today is the day to be thankful for what he has done for our nation. Now India is a democratic country and every citizen has the right to choose their leader.
